Printer Pedestal

What do you do when your desk isn’t large enough for a printer? You make do. You put it on the floor. You put it anywhere it won’t get in the way. Temporarily, I set my printer in the box that it was shipped in until I could come up with another solution.

As it turns out, this temporary solution was the most ideal. It solved two of my problems. 1) It provided me with a piece of furniture (albeit a cardboard piece furniture) on which to place my printer and 2) it solved the problem of storing or disposing of the box.

The only problem with my solution was that it looked jury-rigged; it looked ghetto despite its ingenuity. To solve this, I simply spray-painted the box and voilá, now I have a vintage printer pedestal. The best thing is, when it comes time to move, I have the box and printer right there and packed up in a jif.
